Day SEVEN of the RV Remodel

Nope, not done. Maybe one more day. We're taking Friday off (from taking the RV in for service). We've spent much of the last four days in the truck roaming around Tucson, and I am car sick. So, we're staying home tomorrow to do laundry and not drive the RV anywhere. Looking forward to it!
This is from yesterday. We hiked the Hidden Trail. There's a good Mexican Poppy bloom going on. The sun was so bright, it was hard to get a good picture of the area. See the yellow in the background, those are poppies.

Which brings us to today. After dropping off the RV, we drove up to the Main Gate by the UofA and had breakfast at Joel's Bistro. It was good; but I have to tell you, it's going to be awhile before I eat eggs again. We've had breakfast out 4 days this week, and I am up to here with eggs!
After breakfast we walked. I love the sweaters on these two kids.

This is called a Fairy Duster plant.

Fourth Avenue is the hippie part of Tucson. We saw this parked on the street. It's a 60ish school bus with a VW van welded to the top of it. People are so creative.

Tonight, we have a new TV. It's a Samsung LED TV. It's unnerving how good the picture is. We did not get the new home theater installed because there were no HDMI cables included with the TV or the theater system hardware. Back to the store we go! I also have new pantry shelving, we have a lot of storage now. We may have to buy more food.

  1. The question comes to mind...taking Friday off from what what? Your photos are really beautiful and it's a nice imaginary vacation from all the snow that's still on the ground at my house. I hope something good happens for you on Day 8!

  2. Mr. O's favorite quote comes to mind: Life is a journey, not a destination.

Have a great and egg-free weekend!
