Better Cactus Picture

If I had managed to get out earlier yesterday, this is what I would have photographed.  It's a huge cactus, taller than me; it's been there for years, decades maybe.  Their blossoms are just magnificent.  Again, photo quality is diminished because of having to point the camera into the sun.

These are screen scrapes of photos I published in 2015.  We were living in the RV park then.  Photo quality is better on the original post which can be found here.

Also for your amusement, are photos of the lions in Krueger National Park.

They're looking fairly relaxed.  Happy Sunday to you all.

  4. In Arizona it would be snakes on the pavement. We were camped at Natural Bridges in Utah one spring and decided to walk the paved campground loop after dinner. Never seen so many rattlesnakes!

  5. That lion picture is fabulous. LOVE the cactus flowers. Now I see why you were disappointed not to catch yours at its peak. There's always next year!
