We are very tired. Loading the wagons is taking its toll on us. It's the heat more than anything. Two loads went over today. I'm pretty sure we won't do this again. If we had left in May it wouldn't have been nearly so bad, but we didn't. The air conditioners in the RV are not able to get the temperature much below 80 because it is so stinking hot!
I had to laugh at us yesterday. We could not remember where we had put the remotes for the TV and satellite. It took us awhile to find them in a kitchen drawer. It was actually a good place for them, we just need to make a note of where we left them.
This was last night. I like this picture, the moon is good.
That's it! A note to myself to not leave in June, go sooner.
When the moon is facing east, it's rising to feast. When the moon is facing west, it's going to rest. I don't know your orientation there, but I know the moon is waxing right now, and that is a classic picture.
ReplyDeleteWhere I was standing is facing west. So, it's resting.

ReplyDeletebeautiful moon - seems to be smiling down at you.
ReplyDeletewhen the crescent rises in the east it's an umbrella, when it sets in the west, the cheshire cat's grin.
ReplyDeleteLovely moon.
ReplyDeleteWe left May 31st but took our time going north to get back to the farm the 9th. Because our trailer is not that big, the AC did good on the hottest days and nights cooled off enough for sleeping. By the time we got to Anderson and Yreka, we enjoyed some heat. Mostly good weather right up through CA.
