Still Here!

It's Thursday and we're still here.  We're having communication issues with the RV extended warranty company.  It's just too picayune and stupid to waste bandwidth on so I will not bore you with the gruesome details.  Suffice it to say, we're not in San Diego, nor are we likely to be. 
We're both bored spitless.  It's hot, we should be getting up at dawn to go ride, but due to our malaise and ennui, we're not.  Since we've not been doing much at all there are few interesting photos to post.  Wah, so pathetic.  This is a buckhorn cholla outside the park entrance.  I love the pink blossoms.  

 

Prickly pears.

We were out at Saguaro West this afternoon.  This is a dust devil off in the distance.  As the desert heats, we get dust devils.  They're brief intense little vortices.  One went through the park the other day, there was not much dust, but the air was full of plastic grocery bags spiraling up in the air.  

We learned something this week.  May receives Social Security and Medicare.  Funds are direct deposited, but the documents for taxes are mailed.  We've spent a fair amount of time this week trying to change her address with the feds.  The feds do not recognize Power of Attorney.  That's a state specific document, and they don't care.  At this point it looks like we'll have to wait until we're up there in July and get May to sign address change requests.  So, for those of you caring for aged parents, take this into account if you have to move the folks.
Other than that, maties, I have nothing enlightening or entertaining to report.
