Day Two Temecula RV Work

Greetings!  We continue our stay in the Temecula Valley.  It's warming up nicely here.  It hit 90 today.  This is Jim in the morning sun, waiting for the techs to take the RV back for service.  Tomorrow we're in the body shop for ding repair, slide adjustments and paint.  They say we'll be done in the afternoon.

We amused ourselves by driving out to the wine country in Temecula Valley.  We are unimpressed.  Their signage is vulgar and tacky.  See the vertical words "organic" and "wine"; those are rotating in the wind.  Just tacky!  We were in Walla Walla last year, and liked it much better.

There are several huge tasting rooms/restaurants/bed&breakfasts/wedding sites/wineries out there.  To my untrained eye, however, there doesn't seem to be enough vines to support that many wineries.  This is the South Coast Winery and Spa.  I think they're trying to mimic Caudalie in Bordeaux, France.  France is better.

On the way back we stopped to take a picture of this tree. I've never seen one of these.

Joseph walked us through the use of the new satellite antenna, receiver, surround sound, switch box, front and back televisions.  I took notes, I'm going to have to write a procedure for us.
