Mountain Air Golf Community

This is how the morning starts chez Mohr/Davis. Since we're not getting a newspaper, we gotta have input! There's internet here, so Jim gets the old PC (since its wireless card is working) and I get the new PC with the aircard since my wireless card has stopped working. After getting our daily dose of terrible news, we were off to the Mountain Air fly in golf resort.

This is a utube of landing at the community.

The airstrip is at 4400 feet and is about 2800 feet long.

Like every place else in the area, it's really pretty there.

View from a condo we looked at. Nice condo - had two bedrooms, great kitchen and just a stunning scene outside.

This is a big rock.

This is on the way up to the community at the top of the mountain. There is an airstrip up there. When airplanes are landing or taking off, they want you to stop on the off chance that they over or undershoot the runway.

Mountain plant, very pretty.

Here we are at the pool at the top of the mountain in the community area. Look just beyond the lounge chairs and there is the runway. Look beyond the runway and notice the drop off.

This is the 10th tee. Yepper, that's the tee.

This would be the rest of the 10th hole. I think this is what they call pinpoint golf. There are not enough golf balls in the world for me to complete this course.

A flatter part of the course.

This is the road out of the community. It's steep and swoopy.

We had lunch and enjoyed the day after our tour with the real estate agent. It's an amazing place. Thanks to Sheldon's Mom for making it possible to see Mountain Air. We really enjoyed it.
