The Day in Twitter

This is day two of being in the house.  Fortunately it's not so hot as it was since we don't want to run the air conditioning and bring in outside air.  So, here is the day as seen on twitter.

Interstate 90 between Sprague and Tyler continues to be closed.  Washington DOT has put up an informative map of the alternative routes.

They've also included information on the backups on US2.

ABC recapped the day's events.

But then this happened.

And in news of political theater, we have this.

Other than this, I have nothing interesting what so ever to say.

  1. I don't know what to say except plan on leaving and figure out how to go. And stay safe. Find a large lake to jump into but not drown.

  2. Disasters everywhere. I don't think any of us are safe anywhere any more. Please keep us updated on your status.

  3. Hilary is expected to bring rain up the coast andinto B.C. as well. Hopefully she doesn't run out of moisture before helping with the firefighting efforts.

  4. not only is it extreme that they charged Hunter, he had already paid back the money he owed to the IRS before he was charged. similarly, no one gets charged for buy a gun as a drug addict. this is all political on the republicans part. it's the only thing they can get president Biden on even if peripherally.

  5. Of all people currently alive, I think Roger Stone is probably closest to the embodiment of pure evil.

I couldn't believe California had an earthquake AND a hurricane on the same day! Surely that's some kind of record.

  6. It's very scary to live in wildfire country. We decided to sell our home in our beloved town of Ashland, OR several years ago when a wildfire started two miles from our home and burned for 10 miles north. It's bad enough to have to stay indoors because of smoke...I hope the fire doesn't come closer to you. Stay safe!
