Today we went to Costco to start hoarding some things. Things like lubricating eye drops because my left cornea is bad, Tylenol for the headaches the administration is giving me, and like that. Oh yes, toilet paper, even though it's produced in the US.
All of Spain and Portugal, and part of France had a major power and WIFI outage today. No cause has been determined yet.

DeleteI'm hopeful that when the shelves start emptying at their local Walmart, Target, etc. that the Republican/MAGA voters will take notice. With all the job losses they'll be wanting cheap stuff and it won't be there for them.

The Shelves are already emptying out and I suspect by next Week at the latest, it will be evident how screwed America is when the Financially inept Orange Human Yam puts his Hands to anything Economic... he Bankrupted his own Businesses, he'll Bankrupt America too, while Grifting like Mad. He's making more Money now off Extortion than he ever made before and the Manipulation of the Markets is part of the Long Con in full swing so he and his Billionaire Buddies can deregulate everything to profit more off of and do Insider Trading like Mad becoz he can tip them off when he'll ease or delay Tariff's, then go rinse and repeat over and over again until they stop him. Which, nobody has or will so far, we have a spineless bunch in our Politics right now just either pandering to him and cowering in fear, or just telling us what's Wrong with this Administration, AS IF we don't already know!!!

ReplyDeleteWe just did our every-six-weeks Costco run, and even though we still had about 12 rolls of toilet paper in our coffers, I bought another case (or whatever you might call it) of our favorite. Not two, not hoarding, just one. This will keep us for a good long time if those shortages come again. There are a lot of things we can live without for a time, but not TP.
