It was a good weekend in McDowell. Roger turned 75 - we went to dinner at WildFish in Scottsdale to celebrate 3/4 of a century. Here is Roger with his molten lava cake, which was pretty much to die for.
This is my friend Marcy's new pup. She's a Blue Heeler. She wants to herd. Is she not the cutest? She'll be all grown up the next time I see her.
Last night we had a drink over at Don and Jamie's to wish them farewell. This was the sunset as seen from their front door.
Don and Jamie left this morning. I went over to take a picture of the two of them. Here is Don, doing his Captain Morgan impression.
And here are the two of them. We miss them already.
There they go, off in to the wild blue.
The mobile life style does have a downside; which is that we leave, people we care about leave, we all leave. But then we come back.
Thursday we're flying to Seattle for doctors, dentists and the House of Chest Squashing. There will be pictures of something different. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Safe travels to Seattle!
ReplyDeleteAlways tough to see RV friends move on.
Fantastic sunset!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, safe travels and all the best for good reports.
I'm catching up. Need to find some hiking/biking posts. :)
