Riding and Sleeping on the Job

Hey ho.  After getting the curtains up, we decided to truly test our marriage and install a headboard.  While reading headboard dimensions, we learned that we have a California King, which are more narrow than a regular King.  It still seems like the deck of an aircraft carrier.  The bed came with the house, so one should not complain.  Anyway, like so much flat pack furniture, the pre-drilled holes did not line up.  We got three out of four bolts in, can't tighten them because we can't move the mattress and box spring, way too heavy.  It's leaning against the wall, loosely restrained.  Those are not bars on the window, they're vertical blinds behind the curtains.

None of the color is true.  It's a difficult room to photograph due to too much sun in the morning, and not enough later.

Tuesday we picked up my mountain bike from the bike shop.  Wednesday we rode them.  They're heavy!  They have knobby tires and much rolling resistance.  It was good, they make a lot of work for the elderly.

Returning home, we saw a roof mounted HVAC being installed.  Notice the out riggers on the truck.  I would like to know the hourly charge for the crane. 

We have roller shades across the front porch.  This is where a dove chose to nest.  I hate doves.

See the little round things on the flagstone?  Dove poop.  The shade has a lot stuck on it, as well.  There are palm trees everywhere that are nice places to nest.  But nooooooo.

I think it was yesterday, or maybe the day before, there was a meeting to discuss lowering the cost of GLP drugs.  Basically, it's 47 telling manufacturers to charge less.  During said meeting, he went to sleep, not just nodding off, but sleeping.  Sleepy Joe Biden never did that.

During the meeting the guy from Novo-nordisk passed out.  Dr. Oz and someone else caught him before he hit the deck, later he was fine.  Probably too much venous dilation in the lower legs, standing still in a warm room.  Anyway, 47 took a look at him, then turned to the cameras and did this.  Does he look all there to you?  He stood there the entire time it took staff to get the press out of the room.  

47 appears to announce his intention to normalize 50 year mortgages, attempting to make it easier for young people to buy a home.  Right, mortgages don't touch principle well into the loan's life.  This is a shell game.  47 has also said he won't fund SNAP.  And then there is this.

This is truly stupid.
