This is in the RV park, we haven't seen any blooming out in the desert. Look at this color, it's really bright.
The neighbor two lots down has one in her yard but it only has buds. They only last such a short time but are so gorgeous.

We came across a beautiful wine colored blossom on what I think was a hedgehog cactus while we were out in the desert. I got a nice photo of it, but it cost me a jumping cholla attack!
