Snowbird season 2018-2019 was the WORST WINTER EVER. I write this blog so I remember stuff, and I'm leaving myself a memory here. Generally the south west spends much of winter under a ridge of high pressure. This keeps the wind down and the temperatures up. This past year we had a series of low pressure systems off the coast that kept the weather crazy. It's not like there was anything to be done about it, but a record of these things is good.
So I will leave you with a slightly fuzzy picture of a bird on an ocotillo. The wind was moving the branch, so it's slightly out of focus. Perhaps that is a metaphor for the last few months.
it was a very wet winter here.
ReplyDeleteThat's it! I felt fuzzy the last month, all due to the weather!!
