Day
EIGHT of the RV remodel was yesterday. I think we're done with taking the RV back in to Premier. There is one cabinet door we aren't happy with (warped), and the coax in the bedroom that was supposed to be fed by a splitter from the front TV appears to be in-op. I'm just not going to look at that door, in time I won't see it anymore. Tomorrow we're having Pat from Desert Satellite come out and tell us why the TV won't use the surround sound speakers (and fix it) and fix the coax. I would have to give a grade of fail for the amount of time it took to accomplish the tasks done on the RV. Having worked in manufacturing and being aware of how shop scheduling works, it was obvious to us both that Premier has an issue with workload management.
Yesterday we had breakfast at Tooley's in the Lost Barrio. I had yoghurt with granola (no eggs!). It's a cute little bistro. Their food and coffee is very good. It is not, however, a place you would want to take a large group.
Then it was out to the Genser Trailhead for a vigorous and hot 5 mile hike. The spring flowers are out. When we started there was over cast, but it burned off later.
Today we are in repose. High winds are on the way, so we're not riding. Our mission for the day is to fill out our passport renewal forms and send them in, so that we may leave the country this fall.
Gosh that RV is eating you alive!
