It's always something - revisited

Yesterday started out with such promise. Clear skies, calm winds, happy thoughts. Then we developed a mechanical that left us marooned in Pelahatchie MS. It's another place that has nothing to recommend it except the lakes. We're staying at Yogi on the Lake, part of the Jellystone system of campgrounds whose target market is young couples with many children looking to enjoy the great outdoors without breaking the bank. I admire parents who are willing to take the time and effort to drag the young 'uns out into nature and provide entertainment that doesn't involve video games. I really do, it's a lot of work to haul a trailer out for the weekend, and then pack it all up on Sunday so you can go back to work the next day. I just didn't want to be here for 2 nights with the little rugrats. But, we've been set to rights again by that modern marvel of the RV industry, the mobile RV guys. Monday morning we'll be heading out to a suburb of Jackson MS to a Keystone dealer, perhaps we shall mention a seeming lack of quality control on their part. As Mr. Nietzsche allegedly said (I personally didn't hear it), things that do not kill you make you stronger. That probably included maiming events as well.
There are worse places to be - the weather is just magnificent, mid 70's, blue skies. November is definitely the time to be here. The lake is tres bucolic.

I wanted a picture of the ducks, but they swam away.

So, tomorrow and some unknown number of days will be spent on the mechanical. Hopefully parts will be available on site and will not have to come via dog sled from where ever parts originate.
