Back in Tucson

We are back in the Arizona house.

It took 90 minutes on the phone to get the internet working.  This after being assured that it would be ready and waiting for our return.  So I guess this will be a twice a year call, to get the house that was on vacation hold back online.  In the year of our Lord 2025, it just does not seem like it should be this difficult.

Anyway, we're here, we're tired and my feet hurt from being on tile.

It was a tough day for the bugs.

  1. As long as humans are involved nothing will get easier.

  2. It could have been complicated by the amazon shenanigans?
Pity to lose bugs...but at least it is evidence that they are still around

  3. You sure drove thru a swarm of 'em, bug guts everywhere, I thought mebbe it was Snowing? *winks* Glad travels were Safe to Tucson, sorry about the Internet fiasco, we had a Healthcare Medicare Advantage fiasco ourselves. Seems Metro Phoenix Veterans and their Families who are Seniors were among the 6% Targeted by AETNA and United Healthcare to drop our coverage effective the 1st of the Year!!! Both of us are under Specialists Care and don't want interrupted Services or out of pocket major Medical Drama Expense, so I was scrambling to replace coverage. I managed, but it was an all day affair and quite stressful, poxes on United Healthcare for doing this to our Phoenix Veterans, now we're with a competitor who values our Retired and Disabled
Veterans... so we got on a Military set of Plans, one for Veterans, one for their Spouses, with Humana. It wiped me out Mentally/Emotionally to be Dealing with all that so soon after The Man's Heart Surgeries and me now Dealing with potential Sun Damage which could be Serious and require Surgery or Treatments.

  4. At least you're still seeing bugs! That's a good sign, environmentally!

  5. Glad you made it safely, even if some insects had to be sacrificed. I can't imagine living in two places now. Ten years ago I thought it sounded like a fabulous idea, but now I have a hard time packing for a two-hour drive to my mom's. Too many decisions!
