Go Big or Stay Home

This 5th wheel is currently in the RV park.  We think it's 44 feet long.  It’s made by Space Craft.  They’re a custom manufacturer that sells directly to the consumer.

They’re using this to tow it.

Notice that the tow vehicle has a sleeper cab.

You really have to want to tow something this big.

    Impressive but not for me. Did they have a smaller vehicle to get around in once they are parked up?

      Nope! They have to take that giant truck to Target and the grocery store. Many people put smart cars on the back, with a ramp, but they didn't do that.

    Oh my word. So not me. I hated towing our 30 foot fifth wheel. Like our little trailer much better. But I'd love to have the money they've put into it.

      I checked their web site - no mention of costs. It's probably a lot.

    There is one of this size, with similar front-end truck, in our park here in Florida. I have never seen anyone using it; it just seems to live in a site year-round. It did move one site over at some point, so someone must have been there, briefly. Seems kinda expensive to have a rig like that, pay for a yearly site, and never even use it. I'll never understand people.
